The extensive campsite, facing the Thamalakane River, distanced from the hotel, offers a well-appointed ablution block for campers needs.

The Sedia hotel has all amenities with a fully equipped function room, pleasant open gardens and lawn, and a good-sized swimming pool.

On entering Sedia hotel, a warm friendly ambience embraces you, subdued lighting, and shades of brown all contribute to the African décor completed by pleasant background music.

The teaked decked terrace area, adjacent to the swimming pool, served by the pool bar, provides a great relaxation area.

Enjoy the calm effect of the water, grab one or two cold refreshments and fend off those afternoon bouts of starvation by choosing from a variety of light delicates offered through our terrace menu.

In the evening, the cocktail bar and the terrace bar, frequented by a mixed clientele, offer refreshments with pleasant background music, creating the type of atmosphere where guests stay on and on.

The teak decking around the swimming pool boasts dimly lit lights that offer privacy, where if you don't want a strenuous evening you can sit back, relax and watch the crowd.

THE RESTAURANT
Dinner is served from around 7.00 pm in the air-conditioned restaurant or all fresco on the decked terrace area adjacent to the swimming pool.

Buffet style or a la Carte available, with choice ranging from light to a more sophisticated fare.

Our chef is not only endeavor to accommodate our guests in terms of palate preference but also provide the opportunity for the experiencing of the various dishes reflecting real action African food and the chance to use Africa's most valuable eating utensil, your right hand.

What you are offered remains a surprise.
This food is served around the ritual campfire in a boma style setting with traditional dancers making an appearance.

AVAILABLE ACTIVITIES
The Sedia hotel in conjunction with her Safari partner Afro Trek, offers a unique and flexible type of short duration safaris of one, two or three days (longer if required) to the finest wilderness areas of Botswana.

Afro Trek in association with Sedia hotel allows you to go on Safari as you please, using Sedia hotel to refresh and revitalize between Safaris.

Enjoy the remote wilderness areas without it becoming endurance test overnight camping for days on end.

Transfers between the remote areas and consequently more interesting areas of Botswana can long and uncomfortable on rough sandy roads, even for the hardened traveler.

Afro Trek allows you to break these long journeys by overnighting at Sedia hotel after one or two days on Safari.

Feel like languishing poolside or bird watching down the river, then go on Safari tomorrow!

This provides you with maximum flexibility when deciding where and when to go on Safari.

Afro Trek undertakes Safaris throughout Botswana and offers mokoro trail experiences through the reed fringed channels and lagoons of the Okavango Delta.
